Universal Healthcare
Canada’s universal healthcare system has its flaws, but it is still better than most developed countries.

Canada’s healthcare, also called Medicare, is funded by taxpayers and allows Canadians to access the most essential medical services free of charge.

A recent article in the Washington Post noted that private health insurance is also available in Canada to help cover costs for other items such as “prescription drugs, dentistry, vision care, rehabilitative service and home health care.”
