Saskatchewan reopens Express Entry-aligned Skilled Worker route

Saskatchewan reopens Express Entry-aligned Skilled Worker route
The province of Saskatchewan announced that the International Skilled Worker-Express Entry scheme, an immigration route under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), is now open to applicants for the next draw. A total of 600 foreign citizens are expected to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from the SINP, a number enough to complete the next batch of intake target for this particular subcategory.

It has been three months since the province last reopened the International Skilled Worker-Express Entry scheme. It is amongst the most popular immigration routes in Saskatchewan. Having said this, the SINP did not have to wait for weeks to meet the immigration intake target as interest in this scheme has been high ever since it was first introduced. This is also the reason why the SINP intermittently reopens and closes the route. It needs at least three months to efficiently process a large number of applications submitted throughout the last intake period.

The province of Saskatchewan is yet to announce whether it will reopen the route anew after reaching the target immigration intake in the upcoming draw. It usually announces a new reopening date at least a week before or months after the last draw. All updates on the SINP are announced through its official website.
